Temple University freshman AaronRey Ebreo hasn't even been a college student for a full semester, but it appears he's already learned a life-changing lesson.

In a video interview captured by The Temple News, Ebreo explains and puts into practice his recently launched charitable initiative of using his leftover university meal plan points, allocated for buying food and beverages from university dining locations, to purchase packaged food for homeless people he spots on the streets of Philadelphia.

In the video, Ebreo explains how giving food to those in need makes him feel, along with his hope to inspire university students in Philadelphia and elsewhere to take on his idea.

"I'm just trying to spread love, and this is my way of giving it to these people," Ebreo is quoted as saying.
