Video: 11-year time lapse of One World Trade Center construction

The One World Observatory opened to the public on May 29, providing panoramic views of the city from the tallest building in New York City. 

In honor of the opening, Earth Cam has provided an incredible glance at the construction of the new One World Trade Center that took nearly a decade to finish. Their video shows an 11-year time lapse of the building going up from several different angles. 

In the video's description, Earth Cam's CEO & Founder Brian Cury said, "It's our mission to continue to document this for future generations, so people can see what it took to rebuild these important 16 acres." Watch it here:
