March 09, 2016
For two days, beginning March 19, the Pennsylvania Convention Center will host the Travel and Adventure Show. The exhibit is part of a larger national show series, where attendees can find vacation inspiration and gain expert advice on turning a dream trip into a reality.
The keynote lectures will be conducted by a series of celebrity guest speakers. Travel Channel Host Samantha Brown, CBS News travel editor Peter Greenburg and author of The New York Times bestseller "1,000 Places to See Before You Die" Patricia Schultz will share their knowledge, giving talks on both exhibit days.
Other guest speakers will give seminars on topics like "LGBT Travel: Tours, Cruises, Events and Destinations for 2016" and "Travel Smart and Pack Right."
Check the full listing for specific lecture times.
The event will include hundreds of destination experts, travel tour companies and exhibitors with Travel and Adventure Show deals.
If you're not looking to book a vacation, the entertainment section of the show will transport guests around the world with cultural food, music and dance.
Watch Polynesian dancers, learn the recipe for Thai-style green coconut curry broth and more throughout the two-day travel exhibit. There will also be camel rides.
The Saturday show begins at 10 a.m. and runs until 5 p.m. Doors open at 11 a.m. on Sunday and close at 4 p.m.
Tickets start at $12 for an adult one-day pass and are free for those 16 and under.
