Robert Fitzgerald Diggs, also known as RZA, founded Staten Island-based Wu-Tang Clan in the early 1990's.

Police in Millstone, New Jersey, are investigating after two people were stabbed Saturday morning at the home of Wu-Tang Clan founder RZA, officials said.

Sgt. Gregory Williams, a spokesman for the New Jersey State Police, said officers responded to a report of a stabbing at a Deer Trail Drive home around 1: 18 a.m. Saturday morning, according to NJ.com.

Authorities would not confirm the home belongs to rapper Robert Fitzgerald Diggs, and it was not clear whether he was present at the time of the stabbing, but property records indicate that the wooded property belongs to Diggs.

When police arrived at the scene, they discovered two men suffering from stab wounds.

Williams did not provide additional details about the stabbing, but said the investigation is being conducted by the Major Crimes Unit of the New Jersey State Police.

Wu-Tang Clan, the Staten Island-based rap collective that emerged in 1993 with the release of their acclaimed album "Enter the Wu-Tang (36 Chambers)," was previously under investigation by the FBI in connection to a pair of 1999 killings that the agency thought may have been ordered by the group.
