Police are looking to identify and locate the suspects wanted for a robbery and carjacking in North Philadelphia.

Two Temple University students were robbed at gunpoint early Thursday in separate incidents near the campus in North Philadelphia, 6ABC reports.

The first robbery occurred around 12:30 a.m. near North 10th Street and Susquehanna Avenue, officials said.

According to police, a 21-year-old male student was approached by two armed men who took his phone and keys before driving off in his 2005 Cadillac with New Jersey license plates.

The student, who NBC10 reports was a football player, was not injured.

Police released surveillance video Friday of the suspects involved in the carjacking.

They are described as follows:

Suspect #1: Black male, 22-24 years old, 6 feet tall, dark complected, with a beard and wearing a black jacket.
Suspect #2:
Black male, around 5 feet 7 inches tall, light complected with a beard, wearing jeans and boots.

According to authorities, just a few hours later, around 3:30 a.m., a second male Temple student was robbed at gunpoint on his walk home on the 1800 block of N. 15th St.

His wallet and cellphone were taken, police said. He was not injured.

Police do not believe the incidents are connected because the suspect descriptions do not match, according to NBC10.

The incidents remain under investigation.
