A woman in North Jersey exacted vengeance against an ex-partner by smashing the windows and headlights of his car with a hammer — all while children cried in the back seat.
Video of the incident, which took place in Paterson at an unknown time, was uploaded to YouTube on Tuesday and later picked up by Univision.
It isn't immediately known what motivated the reckless attack.
During the incident, the man in the vehicle repeatedly states that shards and crystals of glass have "cut the babies," who are three and five years old, according to Univision.
At the end of the woman's rampage, she takes the kids and places them in a different car. Her ex tells her she is going to rot in prison.
A spokesperson for the Paterson Police Department told NorthJersey.com the woman has been charged with endangering the welfare of a child, domestic violence and criminal mischief. Authorities did not reveal her identity.
