These for baby black-and-white ruffed lemurs are set to debut at the Philadelphia Zoo in April.
A perfect combination of cuteness and preservation is set to debut at the Philadelphia Zoo in the form of four furry little primates.
The zoo announced the birth of four black-and-white ruffed lemurs earlier this month, and on Monday released video of the babies, who are supposed to introduce themselves to the public sometime in the coming weeks. You can watch the video below:
According to Dan McQuade of PhillyMag, 9-year-old Kiaka gave birth to the group of lemurs on Feb. 21, the first successful such birth at the zoo.
A spokesperson told the magazine Kiaka carries the babies around in her mouth — something McQuade notes is incredibly cute (we concur).
In addition to being adorable, the birth represents an important step in the life of the species of black-and-white ruffed lemurs.

NBC10 reports the species is critically endangered because of poaching and habitat loss in their native home of Madagascar.
The birth is a key step for the Association of Zoos and Aquariums' survival plan for the species, according to the news station.
