Wawa plans opened its new flagship store at the southeast corner of Broad and Walnut streets in September.

Wawa is planning to announce the opening of a new store at the southeast corner of Broad and Walnut streets in Center City, Philly.com reports.

The site, located at the former Robinson Luggage store, is under contract, and the company is working to gain approvals by April 16, a Wawa rep told Philly.com.

The family-owned Robinson Luggage, which closed at the end of 2013, was preceded by a Horn & Hardart's from the late 1950s until the early 1980s.

A source told Philly.com the new Wawa will feature indoor seating.
