We all know Ben Simmons is a fan of Dalessandro's cheesesteaks, but where do our local politicians like to eat?

WHYY and The Food Trust, the team who organizes those beloved Night Markets, have come up with a creative event relating to the quickly approaching Democratic National Convention.

"Dishing DNC," where guests and local leaders will come together to dine on Philly food truck favorites,  is set to take place on July 12 at WHYY.

Attendees will find out which restaurants Philly’s politicians like to frequent and where they'll recommend that convention colleagues check out while in town.

The following government officials are scheduled to attend:

•Philadelphia Mayor Jim Kenney
•Former Pennsylvania Governor Ed Rendell
•Councilman David Oh
•Councilwoman Blondell Reynolds Brown
•Councilwoman Maria Quiñones-Sanchez
•Councilwoman Helen Gym
•Councilman Mark Squilla
•Councilman Darrell Clarke
•State Senator Larry Farnese
•State Representative Michael O’Brien
•State Senator Andy Dinniman

Tickets to the event include admission, one drink voucher and two food vouchers. VIP tickets are also available for those who would prefer access to an open bar.
