Play cornhole, volleyball and more at WayGay Women's Field Day.

The William Way LGBT Community Center is taking advantage of the season in a big way with the third annual WayGay Women's Field Day on May 2. More than 100 LGBTQI women and allies will spend the day at The Albatross in Germantown eating barbecue, having a few drinks and playing games.

Beer pong and flip cup tournaments are on the list of activities for the day, as are cornhole competitions, volleyball and badminton. The food buffet will be accompanied by picnic staples like lemonade, iced tea and beer.

Membership to William Way is included in the Field Day ticket price and proceeds from the event benefit the community center. Purchase tickets early to be sure you're included in the summer fun.
