A Camden teen, Casche Alford, 17, accused of fatally shooting a 13–year-old boy, will be tried in adult court, authorities have decided.
She has an arraignment Friday before Superior Court Judge John T. Kelley.
Alford is accused of fatally shooting Nathaniel Plummer, Jr., also of Camden, on January 7 near Beacon and Line streets.
She has been in custody since Jan. 9, having surrendered to police in an earlier non-fatal shooting, apparently using the same weapon.
Camden County Police, which police the city of Camden, responded about 11:15 p.m. that day, following reports of a shooting.
Officers found Plummer lying on the sidewalk. He was transported to Cooper University Hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 12:14 a.m. on January 8.
The suspect has been held at a juvenile detention facility since January 9 when she surrendered to Camden County Police – in a different shooting case.

Alford was waived up to adult court after a hearing Thursday in juvenile court.
Plummer was the city's first homicide victim of 2016. He was walking to his grandmother's home at the time of the shooting.
He was a student at the city's Octavius V. Catto Community School in East Camden.
Alford had surrendered in connection with a 2015 shooting.
In that incident, police responded at 1:16 p.m. on Oct. 30 to the 2600 block of Mickle Street in reference to a ShotSpotter activation. Officers found the shooting victim, a 19-year-old man from Camden, in the area of 27th and Stevens streets.
He was taken to Cooper University Hospital and treated.
Ballistic evidence links the suspect to both shootings, according to the Camden County Prosecutor's Office.
Alford is charged in the October case with attempted murder, possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose, unlawful possession of a weapon and aggravated assault.
