Coast Guard rescues ship captain injured off Cape May coast

The captain had reportedly sustained a leg injury

The U.S. Coast Guard rescued a ship captain who hurt his leg while aboard a vessel 356 miles east of Cape May on Sunday morning.

The Coast Guard said the unidentified captain was taken by helicopter to Atlantic City Trauma Center at around 11 a.m. Sunday and is in fair condition.
