The IRS tax filing deadline is only one week away and you probably couldn't feel more bitter. The cure? Bitters. Add some to a cocktail shaker filled with ice, Bluecoat Barrel Finished Gin, orange juice and vermouth for the perfect Income Tax, a sweet-and-sour cocktail that can take the edge off tax season. Enjoy while you're waiting for a refund check.

The Income Tax:

1 1/2 ounces Bluecoat Barrel Finished Gin
3/4 ounce sweet vermouth
3/4 ounce dry vermouth
1/2 ounce fresh squeezed orange juice
2 dashes of Angostura Bitters

Combine all ingredients into a cocktail shaker filled with ice, and shake vigorously. Double strain into a chilled cocktail glass. Garnish with an expressed orange twist.
