Many of you really enjoy the announcement of the NFL regular season schedule. The majority of you couldn't possibly care less about the preseason schedule. Today, the Eagles announced the latter, which looks like this:

Week 1: Indianapolis Colts (home)

Week 2: Baltimore Ravens (home)

Week 3: Green Bay Packers (away)

Week 4: New York Jets (away)

Each of the last two seasons, the Eagles held a few days of joint practices with the Patriots leading up to a preseason game. In 2013, those joint practices were in Philly. In 2014, they were in Massachusetts. The Patriots do not appear on the Eagles' preseason schedule this year, so it's probably safe to assume those joint practices are out this season. To be determined if the Eagles hook up with another team in 2015.

The Eagles' 2015 regular season opponents are as follows:

Home Away
 CowboysCowboys
 GiantsGiants
 RedskinsRedskins
 SaintsFalcons
 Buccaneers Panthers
 Cardinals Lions
 Bills Jets
 Dolphins Patriots

In February, we speculated that the Eagles were prime candidates to play in the Thursday night NFL kickoff game Week 1. The Pats not appearing on the Eagles' preseason schedule could be an indication that the schedule makers feel the same way.
