There's sad news to pass along about a player that had an excellent football career at Temple University. Former defensive end Adrian Robinson, Jr. has passed away at the age of 25 years old. Symmetry, the sports agency that represented him, posted a message on its Facebook page:
It deeply saddens all of us to share with you that Adrian Robinson Jr. passed away last night at the age of 25. Adrian was a beloved father, son, brother, friend and teammate. We ask that you please respect his family’s privacy during this difficult time, and especially keep his daughter Avery Marie in your prayers. Thank you for all of your support and consideration.
Robinson started 38 games in his college career and racked up a bunch of honors such as three selections to the First-Team All-MAC team and the 2009 MAC Defensive Player of the Year. In high school, the Harrisburg High School product was named the Big 33 Game MVP in 2008.
In the NFL, Robinson had brief stints with the Steelers, Eagles, Broncos, Chargers, and Redskins. His tenure back in Philadelphia with especially short:
