Howard Eskin nominated for Deadspin's Worst Tweet award, Daniel Radcliffe announces

You may remember Philadelphia radio personality Howard Eskin's tweet from last June's NBA draft, in which he reported the Sixers had traded up for the 25th overall pick and the chance to select Latvian center Anzejs Pasecniks.

If you actually remember it, that's probably because it had a lot of typos.

The tweet earned Eskin a nomination for Deadspin's Worst Tweet award for 2017, presented Tuesday as part of the second annual Deadspin Awards.

As if that wasn't enough, the sports website once again enlisted Harry Potter actor Daniel Radcliffe to announce the nominees and the winner in a five-minute video posted to Twitter.

The longtime Sportsradio WIP host didn't snag the award, which ultimately went to ESPN's Darren Rovell.

But Eskin, known to partake in a Twitter spat or two, took a shot at Radcliffe anyway.

As it turns out, Eskin wasn't a big Harry Potter fan. Who'da thunk it?

Of course, his retort sparked a slew of responses Thursday evening.
