LeSean McCoy and Kiko Alonso are no longer Philadelphia Eagles anymore, of course, but obviously, one was traded for the other during Chip Kelly's front office reign of terror during the 2015 offseason. The two players now both play in the AFC East and face each other twice per season.
On Sunday, Alonso posted a picture of himself tackling McCoy:
- MORE ON THE EAGLES
- Examining the feasibility of the Eagles acquiring Seahawks corner Richard Sherman
- What they're saying about Eagles: Beau Allen injured, Richard Sherman rumors and draft buzz
- WATCH: NFL Films followed Connor Barwin through process of revitalizing Point Breeze park
- What they're saying about the Eagles: More mocks, some national praise and scouting Jernigan
McCoy apparently took exception, initially writing in the comment section, "boy ya dad wish u was as good as me... n ya new contract garbage lol my 2011 money...," and then later saying, "take me off ya page u BUM." The capital letters in the word "BUM" would indicate that McCoy really meant it. I'll also note that while McCoy's English could use a little refining, he is at least more literate than the commenters at Philly.com.
Asked for comment, Alonso said, "Me not understand McCoy's words." Probably.
