Only one thing left for Phillies to do after J.T. Realmuto trade

The Phillies made a big splash on Thursday, acquiring All-Star catcher J.T. Realmuto from the Marlins in exchange for catcher Jorge Alfaro, top prospect Sixto Sanchez and fellow pitching prospect Will Stewart.

But the Phillies are not done just yet. At least they hope not.

With the two biggest free agents of the MLB offseason (Bryce Harper and Manny Machado, duh) still available with less than a week remaining before pitchers and catcher report, the Phillies are hoping to make one more, even bigger splash, before the 2019 season starts.

Or, perhaps, two huge splashes, which might ultimately lead to a tsunami engulfing the city of Philadelphia.

Sure, that last one seems like an impossible pipe dream, but hey, what's wrong with dreaming? After all, Gabe Kapler seems to (correctly) believe these move are an indication that the Phillies are in "win-right-now mode".
