New Jersey restaurants featured in October episodes of 'Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives'

Tired of eating the same old? Set your DVRs or clear your schedules – the Food Network's "Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives" showed some love at four local New Jersey joints back in the summer and the episodes featuring burgers, bagels and french toast are set to air in the coming weeks.

First up is the Oct. 7 episode of the show called "Burgers, Buns and Bagels" featuring Plainsboro, New Jersey's Bagel Street Grill where Guy Fieri will sample the region's famous pork roll, initially reported by NJ.com. The episode airs at 9 p.m.

Next up is the show's Oct. 14 episode called "Big Food, Small Towns" which will show off the talents of Vincentown Diner in Vincentown, New Jersey and Rocky Hill, New Jersey's Rocky Hill Inn. At the diner, the show will feature the restaurant's "mile-high meatloaf" and its apple pie French toast. The gastropub will cook up burgers and something called "disco fries." That episode also airs at 9 p.m.

Jammin' Crepes found in Princeton, New Jersey will also appear on the show, though a date hasn't yet been set. "Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives" has been on the air for 25 seasons.

The owners? Well, they couldn't be anymore excited. All took to social media to share the good news.

Philadelphia's own Percy Street Barbecue was featured in an episode called "Big Time Barbecue" that aired in July. Though, Utah restaurant Moochie's Meatballs and More was also featured in an earlier episode called "Best of the West" this season for its "authentic" Philly cheesesteak.
