Police at Penn State University's main campus are investigating a female student's report that she was raped last week.

The woman, who reported the incident on Tuesday afternoon, said she was sexually assaulted by an acquaintance at an off-campus fraternity house. The location and time of the assault was unknown.

The university on Wednesday posted a "timely warnings" notice to alert students and provide available information.

It was the 10th report of a sexual assault at main campus since the current semester began Jan. 11, according to the Daily Collegian.

Last year, a Penn State fraternity, Kappa Delta Rho, removed 38 members of its chapter in the aftermath of a scandal concerning nude and partially nude photos of women posted to a Facebook page.

A week after the scandal surfaced, Penn State President Eric Barron said a task force would review greek life at main campus, according to the Daily Collegian. A report is expected by the end of the Spring semester.
