Philly & N.J. celebrate Red Nose Day!

Day is dedicated to raising money for children and young people living in poverty

Laughter can change the world. 

One way to spark some snickers and improve the lives of others is by donning a red nose. Really. 



May 21 is the inaugural Red Nose Day when people across the country will come together to have fun and raise funds and awareness for children and young people living in poverty.

Aside from wearing red noses for the cause, the day's events will culminate in a three-hour entertainment TV special on NBC at 8 p.m. featuring the country's favorite comedians, musicians and Hollywood stars, including Julia Roberts, Will Ferrell, Jimmy Fallon, Blake Shelton, Reese Witherspoon, Jack Black, Pharrell, One Direction, Zac Efron, Nick Cannon and many more.

Charity partners include Boys & Girls Clubs of Americacharity: water; Children’s Health Fund,  Feeding America, GaviThe Global FundLiftNational Council of La Raza, National Urban LeagueOxfam AmericaSave the Children and United Way.
