Philly & N.J. celebrate Red Nose Day!

Day is dedicated to raising money for children and young people living in poverty

Seth Meyers, David Duchovny and Jane Krakowski will host ‘Red Nose Day,’ NBC’s star-studded charity event airing Thursday, May 21 (8-11 p.m. ET).

Laughter can change the world.

May 21 is the inaugural Red Nose Day when people across the country will come together to have fun and raise funds and awareness for children and young people living in poverty.

Aside from wearing red noses for the cause, the day's events will culminate in a three-hour entertainment TV special on NBC at 8 p.m. featuring the country's favorite comedians, musicians and Hollywood stars, including Julia Roberts, Will Ferrell, Jimmy Fallon, Blake Shelton, Reese Witherspoon, Jack Black, Pharrell, One Direction, Zac Efron, Nick Cannon and many more.

Charity partners include Boys & Girls Clubs of America, charity: water; Children’s Health Fund, Feeding America, Gavi, The Global Fund, Lift, National Council of La Raza , National Urban League, Oxfam America, Save the Children and United Way.
