Pink is getting a star on Hollywood Walk of Fame

The singer from Bucks County also is nominated for a Grammy award this year

Doylestown native Pink is officially getting a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. 

Pink, whose real name is Alecia Moore, will be honored on Tuesday, Feb. 5, according to an announcement from the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce. The ceremony will begin at 11:30 a.m. on Hollywood Boulevard. You can live stream it here.

Ellen DeGeneres and Kerri Kenney-Silver will help unveil the star and give tributes to the singer. 

"We are thrilled to honor one of the world’s most popular entertainers, Pink!” Walk of Fame producer Ana Martinez said in a statement. “She is a unique performer who leaves you in a state of joy and surprise at the same time. She mesmerizes the audience with her voice and her action-packed performances! Fans worldwide will join us in droves in Hollywood to see her honored on her special Walk of Fame day.”

Pink attended Central Bucks High School West. In an October 2017 interview with The Guardian, she said growing up in Bucks County she was the "s**t head" and "No one wanted their kid anywhere near me." 

Her song album "Beautiful Trauma" is nominated for a Grammy award this year.
