Police: Woman put credit card skimmer on ATM at Penn hotel

The Philadelphia Police are seeking help from the public to identify this woman, who law enforcement officials believe, placed a credit card skimming device on an ATM machine at The Inn at Penn.

Philadelphia police are seeking help from the public to identify a woman who placed a credit card skimming device on an ATM machine in the lobby of a West Philadelphia hotel. 

According to police, the device was discovered on Oct. 10 at about noon at an ATM at The Inn at Penn, 3600 Sansom St. Police said the skimmer was "fitted over the ATM card slot and allowed unknown person(s) to intercept debit/credit card account information and PIN numbers."

A review of surveillance footage shows that a white female is believed to have placed the device on Oct. 8, police said.
