Square 1682 is launching its Sidewalk Summertime Chill Zone tonight, July 12. Guests can hang out and relax outside the restaurant 5-9 p.m. on Wednesdays through the summer.

So what's in the "Chill Zone"?

Ways to cool off – think kiddie pools and outdoor furniture with umbrellas – and plenty of drink specials.

In the outdoor space along Sansom Street, lead bartender Daniel Kulisek will be mixing up summery drinks. Oh, and he'll be singing, too.

"A natural performer and singer, Kulisek brings a summertime Yacht Rock play list and performs several songs himself throughout the evening," states a press release on the event.

The drinks he'll be serving are Light & Stormy and Gin Rickey cocktails using Bluebird spirits for $10, 2SP beers for $5 and red, white and rosé wines for $5.

Square 1682 is launching the pop-up as a Center City SIPS alternative, but die hard SIPS fanatics can still score the deals inside at the restaurant bar.
