Authorities have found a 12-year-old South Jersey girl who had been missing since Thursday.

The Camden County Prosecutor's Office said Saturday that the girl has been located safe in Philadelphia. Philadelphia Airport Police, the Philadelphia Police Department and the Collingswood Police Department all assisted in the investigation.

Authorities had said she was last seen by a friend at Collingswood High School during the day Thursday.

The girl was later observed at the Collingswood PATCO station around 2 p.m. that day and was believed to be possibly traveling with Liam Helm, a 21-year-old man from Gulfport, Florida, according to investigators.

Prosecutors shared photos that appear to show the girl and Helm together at the station, adding that Helm had been in contact with the juvenile.

Authorities did not release additional information Saturday; specifically, they did not say whether the girl had been traveling with Helm when she was located in Philadelphia.

The incident is still under investigation, according to prosecutors.
