Philadelphia police are investigating the discovery of a body stuffed inside a laundry bag and left on a street in the Tacony section of Northeast Philadelphia.
The body was found around 7:25 a.m. Friday on the 6900 block of Edmund Street.

The gender of the victim could not immediately be determined and the victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
An investigation into the incident remains ongoing.
