Join Main Line Today at Drexelbrook on Thursday, October 17 as it celebrates outstanding female leaders from the Main Line and western suburbs at this year’s Women on the Move luncheon. The women honorees will also be featured in the magazine’s October issue. Tickets are on sale now.
This highly-anticipated annual event has hosted leaders of local and national importance throughout the years. This year’s highlight will be Kathy Romano, a former Women on the Move honoree and award-winning Philadelphia radio host. Romano began her career as a production assistant and traffic reporter at NBC-10 before joining 93.3 WMMR as a host on the Preston and Steve Show. She is also host of “Her Story,” a weekly show on 95.7 BEN FM that focuses entirely on influential women. Since taking over the Sunday show in 2017, Romano has had the opportunity to spotlight over 200 women.
The event will also feature a drive that benefits Purses for of Hope, an organization that collects and delivers purses with women’s toiletries to local shelters. Gently used purses will be accepted.
Tickets are $49 each or $441 for a table of 10.
