The U.S. Marine Corps program "Toys for Tots" collects new, unwrapped toys each year in Philadelphia, then distributes the gifts to underprivileged children for Christmas. This December, for the second year, bars across the city are getting in on the action as toy donation drop-off spots.

Bring a new, unwrapped toy to one of the participating bars before Dec. 20 and receive a free Hot Apple Pie Shot. The concoction is one part Fireball Whiskey and one part Dr. McGillicuddy’s Apple Pie Liqueur that is chilled and strained into a shot glass. Do not bring toy weapons or stuffed animals as donations, however, because they will not be accepted.
