Ghostly Circus throwing dinner party with aerial performances, fire dancers

Performances Circus Arts
Carroll - The Ghostly Circus Thom Carroll/PhillyVoice

Cassandra Angelucci and Laura Rennegade perform with fire fans at The Ghostly Circus: Dante's Inferno.

For the past five years, the Ghostly Circus has put on a show at Laurel Hill Cemetery. This March, the fire dancers and aerial performers will do something different: dinner theater.

The new event will take place Saturday, March 2, at the 2300 Arena in South Philly.

Doors will open at 6 p.m. for cocktail hour, then at 7 p.m. dinner will be served while Act I is performed. After, there will be dessert, Act II and a dance party.

The show will celebrate art and music, and have elements of the Pythian Games of ancient Greece.

Tickets are $150 and must be purchased by Friday, Feb. 22. There's also the option to buy tickets to just the dessert portion of the evening for $50. A portion of proceeds will be donated to the Bruce Montgomery Foundation for the Arts.

Dinner guests will receive a glass of Champagne, but other drinks can be purchased from the 2300 Arena's bar.

For those driving, not drinking, there's a free parking lot behind the venue.
