Police are seeking the public's assistance in locating a suspect wanted in connection with the sexual assault and robbery of a female Temple University student on Sept. 28, 2015.

Philadelphia police are seeking assistance from the public in locating a suspect wanted in connection with the sexual assault and armed robbery of a female Temple University student in the 22nd District in late September.

At approximately 11:35 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 28, authorities say an unknown black male sexually assaulted a 20-year-old female victim at gunpoint on the 1400 block of Carlisle St.

Prior to the incident, the suspect, shown in the video below, was seen boarding a southbound SEPTA subway train at the Broad and Erie Station, police say. According to authorities, he was seen exiting the train at the Broad and Cecil B. Moore Station.



The suspect is described as a black male in his mid-20s, about 6 feet tall with a thin build and a goatee. He was last seen wearing blue jeans, black boots, a black hat and a puffy green or gray vest over a dark hooded sweatshirt. Police say he may be armed with a handgun.
