Hungry Harvest, a farm to doorstep produce delivery service, is hitting the road this summer in an effort to get back to its roots and back into the local communities the company serves. The three-city tour — dubbed the ‘Produce to the People Road Trip’ — will include a stop at Love City Brewing on Tuesday, June 15 for a free, fun-filled evening of good food and good people for a great cause. Registration is now open.
During the event, attendees will have the opportunity to help raise money for those in need while sipping on produce-inspired drinks and learning about the farms and donation partners Hungry Harvest works with. Portions of the proceeds will benefit Mama-Tee’s Community Fridge initiative, which helps provide sustainable food for those in need in communities of color throughout Philadelphia. Hungry Harvest is committed to increasing its weekly donation to this joint effort, providing more than 2,500 pounds of fresh produce this year.
