Sunday's playoff game was heartbreaking. But some of us may have taken it worse than others.

After the Philadelphia Eagles loss against the New Orleans Saints, Kirsten Gaskins, 31, of Philadelphia, allegedly attacked her girlfriend in a hotel room in Hanover Township, Northampton County, before putting the other woman's dog in a microwave, The Morning Call first reported.

Gaskins is charged with assault, harassment, cruelty to animals and possession of drug paraphernalia.

The Morning Call reported that Gaskins' girlfriend (whose name has not been released) told police the incident began when Gaskins got drunk and began yelling about the Eagles' loss to the Saints. The couple was in a room at a Best Western hotel where they had been staying as a getaway.

As the incident escalated, Gaskins allegedly pushed the other woman to the ground, got on top of her, and hit her in the face. She allegedly also threatened to kill the girlfriend's dog during the fight.

The girlfriend escaped and called police around 9:40 p.m. on Sunday.

When police entered the hotel room and checked the microwave, they found a white Pomeranian dog inside, The Morning Call reported. The microwave was not turned on.
