The Philadelphia Eagles (and the rest of the NFL's teams, for that matter) have to cut down to 53 players by 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As reports of cut trickle in, we'll update them here.

• The Eagles cut C Cameron Tom, per Aaron Wilson of ProFootballNetwork. The Eagles added Tom to the roster just before the start of training camp, and he made it all the way through. Tom got a lot of work in the preseason games, as he played 65 snaps against the Dolphins, 28 snaps against the Browns, and 34 snaps against the Jets.

• The Eagles cut S Jaquiski Tartt, per Adam Caplan. Tartt was a second-round pick of the Niners in 2015 out of Samford who has played in 80 regular season games, with 64 starts. In 2021, Tartt had 66 tackles (5 for loss), with just one pass breakup and no interceptions. At the time of his signing in mid-June, Tartt was thought to be a solid veteran addition to the Eagles' safety group, which was in need of solid depth, however, he was mostly invisible throughout camp.

• The Eagles are cutting QB Carson Strong, per Jonathan Jones of CBS. After signing a contract that guaranteed hi $320,000, Strong had a very rough start to camp, and pretty much became a spectator the rest of the way. He only attempted four passes in the preseason games. I would say it's unlikely that the team will even bring him back to the practice squad.

• The Eagles will be cutting RB Jason Huntley, according to Mike Kaye. Huntley had a 67-yard TD run in the final preseason game. He has good speed and is a good kick returner, but he did not do enough throughout camp to stamp his ticket onto the roster.

• The Eagles cut DT Renell Wren, per Caplan. He was the least likely interior defensive lineman to make the team. Wren could still come back to the practice squad, but likely only if the Eagles are unable to bring back Marvin Wilson and/or Kobe Smith.

• The Eagles have cut TE Richard Rodgers, per Chris Franklin. We all know we haven't seen the last of DickRod.

• The Eagles are working on an injury settlement with WR Greg Ward, who will be released, according to Chris Franklin. In three seasons with the Eagles, Ward had 88 catches for 768 yards and 10 TDs. In 2021, he had just 7 catches for 95 yards and 3 TDs. Ward is a good story, a true professional, and he has some versatility in that he can at least field punts. The team likes him, but not so much that they were willing to tender him as a restricted free agent this offseason, which would have cost $2,433,000. Instead, the Eagles declined Ward's tender, and he was free to sign with any team. He eventually came back to the Eagles on a one-year deal worth $1 million. He barely participated at all in training camp this summer, as he was sidelined with a toe injury.

• Wilson tweeted that CB Josh Blackwell has been cut, but he later deleted the tweet. I think we can safely assume Blackwell will not survive final cuts, since the team waived him a week ago to get to 80 players only to re-sign him after they traded S Ugo Amadi.

• The Eagles waived QB Reid Sinnett, according to Tom Pelissero. Sinnett has tools worth developing and the team should look to bring him back to the practice squad if they can, but he did not play well enough in the Eagles' three preseason games to warrant a spot on the 53.

• The Eagles have cut CB Mario Goodrich, per Ian Rapoport, who says that Goodrich should be back on the practice squad if not claimed. We'll see. The Eagles have a lot of young corners that they are going to cut today.

• The Eagles cut S Anthony Harris, which was a surprising move for a hot second before it was announced that Howie Roseman traded for Saints S Chauncey Gardner-Johnson. More on the trade here.

• The Eagles cut WR Devon Allen, per Matt Lombardo. I strongly considered putting Allen on my final 53 projection because he has pure athletic talent, which translated into a big play on offense in the Browns game as well as a few impressive plays on special teams against the Dolphins. My fear would be that some garbage team with like 7 roster spots to fill might poach him, but ultimately he's probably not a great fit for a rebuilding team since he'll turn 28 in December. The Eagles will absolutely look to bring Allen back on the practice squad.

• The Eagles are cutting CB Tay Gowan, per Tim McManus. No surprise there. Gowan is athletic and has some size, but was handsy throughout camp and remains a developmental prospect.

• The Eagles are cutting DT Marvin Wilson, per Tom Pelissero. Big Marv might've made the final 53 in past Eagles camps, but the interior defensive line depth is too crowded for him to stick this year. He's a waiver claim candidate.

• The Eagles are releasing OT Le'Raven Clark, per Adam Schefter, who added this:

If Clark has to play a meaningful role for Dallas this season, they're screwed.

• The Eagles are cutting CB Mac McCain, per Chris Franklin. Poor guy was forced to line up opposite Tyreek Hill in the final preseason game, and that went about as expected. He could be back on the practice squad.

• The Eagles was waiving DT Kobe Smith with an injury settlement, per Matt Lombardo. If healthy, Smith might've been a strong candidate for the practice squad.

• The Eagles are cutting iOL Jack Anderson, per Jeff McLane. Anderson had some guard/center versatility, but the Eagles are flush with OL depth.

• The Eagles are cutting WR Deon Cain, per Jeremy Fowler. Cain had a decent enough camp, but this was an easy call.

• The Eagles are cutting CB/S Andre Chachere, per Mike Kaye. Chachere is 26 years old and is on his sixth team in five years. He should safely clear waivers.

• The Eagles are cutting TE Noah Togiai, per Mike Kaye. Togiai was once a waived Eagles player who got claimed by another team. He should be safe this time around.

• The Eagles cut JaCoby Stevens, per Dave Zangaro. Easy call. rough preseason.
