Fletcher Cox destroying the Bills' offensive line, in gif form

Fletcher Cox is better at getting to the quarterback than he is at administering CPR.

After the Eagles-Patriots game, we showed a string of gifs of Fletcher Cox dominating the Patriots' offensive linemen. Welp, another week, another Fletcher Cox feeding frenzy.

"That 91 is a good player," said Bills head coach Rex Ryan. "I was laughing when I saw him being compared to Jerome Brown, but I’m not laughing now. The kid is a pretty good player.”

And that quote above is kind of how it has gone for Cox early in his career. He has largely flown under the radar, despite performing like a truly elite defender in the NFL. Until you actually, you know, watch him. A pair of fun facts for you:

  1. Fletcher Cox fun fact: He has never been to the Pro Bowl.
  2. Pro Bowl fun fact: The people who vote for it are idiots.

"I think they struggled with him like everybody has struggled to block him," said Eagles defensive coordinator Bill Davis. "He’s having a great year, and I hope he gets rewarded for it.”

OK, let's just get to the gifs. Below is a mix of extremely blatant holds not called, ones that were, or just sheer dominance. The most interesting thing about Cox is that he really doesn't even have pass-rush moves. He simply wins with brute strength.

Again... Beast.
