Regis is back, Live! in Ocean City


The one and only Regis Philbin hosted the fourth annual event on the Ocean City Music Pier and results are in.

Matthew Allen, 64, of Newtown, Pa., won Mr. Mature America, 2017. Allen’s brother was an astronaut on three space shuttle missions. Gregg Clayton, a 58-year old guitarist from of Somers Point, N.J., sang “The Purple People Eater,” and was first runner-up; Frank Formica, a 65-year old third-generation owner of a famed Atlantic City bakery and an Atlantic City freeholder, sang and played guitar. He was second runner-up; Jack Byrne, an 88-year old comedian from Cherry Hill, N.J., was Mr. Congeniality; Gregg Clayton won for best talent and answer to on-stage question; Matthew Allen won for best poise; and Frank Formica won for best interview.
