During the 2016 season, the Philadelphia Eagles' "fullback" was defensive tackle Beau Allen. He played a grand total of seven snaps at fullback, or 0.6 percent of the Eagles' offensive snaps a season ago. Without finding each of them, I'll go out on a limb and assume they were likely all in goal line situations.

With Allen recovering from a pectoral muscle, one of the more common questions I've gotten this offseason has been who is going to play fullback this season. Football fans love them some fullbacks.
On Thursday, I took one for the team and asked Doug Pederson who would be replacing Allen's seven snaps at fullback.
"Right now, it's just kind of by committee," he said. "Trey Burton has been in there and Dillon Gordon has been in there, which we did last year in the preseason, if you remember. We've got a couple guys. Beau Allen was in there last year. So we'll see where that goes."
I know that fantasy football owners do not like when teams employ "running back by committee" approaches. The Eagles' "fullback by committee" approach will almost certainly hurt Dillon Gordon's fantasy football draft stock.
