Four teenagers were hospitalized after gunfire erupted at a North Philadelphia birthday party late Wednesday night, police said.
Three girls, ages 15, 16 and 17, and a 16-year-old boy were shot inside a home on the 2800 block of Bonsall Street around 11:30 p.m., CBS3 reported. They each suffered gunshot wounds to their legs, but the 15-year-old girl also was shot in the back. They were taken to Temple University Hospital for Treatment.

Investigators said nine shell casings and a loaded magazine for a semiautomatic weapon were found on two floors of the home, where the 15-year-old lives with her family, 6ABC reported. The party was celebrating a girl's 17th birthday.
There were 15-20 people at the party, police said. The youngest person was 11.
Police arrested two males inside a home on Judson Street – about a block away from the party location – after a short foot chase, NBC10 reported. A third male was arrested nearby. Officers recovered two handguns from them.
Gunfire from the shooting hit another home across the street, but no one was injured, authorities said. An investigation into the shooting remains ongoing.
The shooting came one night after nearly 100 shots were fired outside the Shepard Recreation Center in West Philadelphia. Five people were injured, including two teens.
