A man is in police custody after a mother and her 1-year-old child were stabbed during a domestic dispute in the West Oak Lane neighborhood of Philadelphia.
CBS 3 reports that Stephen Burton was taken into custody in Maryland for questioning, though he has not been called a suspect and there are no immediate charges against him after the victims were discovered by police around 12:30 a.m. Sunday on the 1900 block of Dallas Road.
The mother was taken to Albert Einstein Medical Center while the baby was taken to St. Christopher's Hospital for Children, NBC Philadelphia reports. Both are listed in critical condition.
