Hot air balloons soar over the Bucks County Playhouse in New Hope, Pennsylvania.

As the leaves begin to change, Philadelphia and the surrounding suburbs become prize spots for viewing beautiful fall foliage. And Weather.com agrees as they've recently named a local attraction to their list of "10 Unique Ways to Experience Fall Colors."

Hot-air balloon rides through Bucks County top the list thanks to the jaw-dropping vistas they provide and their proximity to both Philadelphia and New York City.

Here's what Weather.com had to say:

One of the most thrilling ways to see fall foliage, a ride in a hot-air balloon gives fall fans a chance to soar above vibrant landscapes (and take in the crisp autumn air). In Bucks County, Pennsylvania—a charming countryside destination located 25 miles from Philadelphia and 75 miles from New York City—visitors can have an amazing experience taking in the breathtaking fall landscapes from up above while in a hot air balloon with the U.S. Hot-Air Balloon Team. Have a camera ready, you'll enjoy views of the surrounding countryside including vineyards, horse farms, wildlife and the distant silhouettes of the Manhattan, New York city skyline, on your one-hour ride.

Hang gliding, autumnal train rides and fall fly fishing fill out the list, highlighting attractions in Virginia, Wisconsin, North Carolina and more. View the full list here.
