The Associated Press reports that a Philadelphia judge ruled in favor of Kelly's landlord in a dispute over the coach's lease at an Old City apartment.
Kelly reportedly failed to give proper notice to his landlord about moving out of his penthouse. The judge ruled in favor of the landlord, despite the coach's lawyer arguing that a verbal agreement between Kelly and landlord Tempa Berish on a flexible agreement.
The judge cited a written agreement between the two, which stated the lease would automatically renew.
According to CBS Sports, court documents acquired by The Legal Intelligencer show that Kelly now owes Berish $79,374 in back rent and an early termination fee, plus he'll lose his $20,000 security deposit because his layer did not show for a one-day trial.
Kelly reportedly moved out of the $10,700-a-month residence in April when he stopped paying rent, and Berish began renting it out again in September.
