In the midst of the Coronavirus crisis, we are all looking for ways to battle the monotony and disconnect of quarantine life. It is easy to fall into a rut, but now there is a great way to entertain, educate and captivate yourself, your friends, your family members, or even your co-workers!

City Brew Tours has launched live Beer Events at Home experiences to combat the isolation. Guests can choose between the Live Homebrew Experience -- suitable for all backgrounds and skill levels, or the virtual Beer and Cheese Pairing Happy Hour – suitable for anyone of legal drinking age.

City Brew Tours is usually a craft beer tour company, providing VIP access behind-the-scenes at the hippest local breweries in 11 cities across the US and Canada. The tours typically include round-trip transportation to multiple breweries, heaps of beer-related education, food pairings, and beer galore. However, like so many other businesses, City Brew Tours was forced to park their tour vans and put the pours on hold.

But circumstances haven't stopped City Brew Tours in their mission to spread cheer and beer knowledge throughout the nation. "If we can't bring our guests to the breweries, we'll bring the brewing and beer education to them virtually," said Chad Brodsky, the company's Founder and CEO.

Using the same entertaining and interactive methods that their beer-expert guides use on tours, City Brew Tours is showcasing two live beer experiences.

The online Beer and Cheese Pairing Happy Hour adds a fun interactive spin to the existing video chat with friends, at a low price point. This live, virtually-guided beer and cheese event, will explore the intricacies of pairing beer and cheese. They recommend that participants prepare 2-3 different types of cheeses, either from what is already hanging out in their fridge, or during their next grocery run. For a fun bonus pairing, they recommend grabbing some chocolate too.

For the Beer and Cheese Pairing Happy Hour, participants also need at least two types of beer at home. Therefore, City Brew Tours encourages participants to purchase beer from local breweries, many of which are offering curbside pickup, as this is the only way that the breweries can survive this difficult time. Attending the virtual event therefore doubles as a fun incentive to continue supporting their favorite breweries.

City Brew Tours is also offering the incredibly comprehensive Live Homebrew Experience. The experience requires no prior knowledge and comes with the equipment and ingredients for participants to make their first full case of beer, all brought right to their doorstep.

"We've curated the perfect kit for people to try homebrewing. These high-quality and reusable materials, with minimum investment, are shipped nationwide right to a participant's front door before the experience begins," said Barry Hansen, the company's COO and Mr. Brodsky's business partner.

The ticket price also includes an ingredients kit which transforms into 2.5 gallons of delicious beer, as well as about 3 hours of interactive home-brewing instruction and entertainment from a live guide.

Make the experience even more special!

Pre-pandemic, City Brew Tours offered both incredible public tours, as well as unforgettable private tour experiences and corporate outings. In this regard, they have refused to disappoint. They are now offering private experiences for special occasions, as well as expertly executed, custom corporate experiences online!

Their special occasion private events are perfect for the sad Aries and Tauruses this year, or for those celebrating engagements, anniversaries, and other special occasions that land during the dates where we are all stuck at home. Check out their site for more info on the premium add-ons you can add to the existing experiences, as well as private group pricings!

They are fully customizable and can include beer, samples of gourmet cheeses, crackers, chocolate, CBT merch, and more.

Many industries, including travel and craft beer, have suffered devastating effects from the recent pandemic. As a small business at the crossroads of both of those industries, City Brew Tours saw an opportunity to entertain, educate, and captivate people from the comfort of their own home, while providing continued work to the company's 60 employees.

So, let the experts take you through the ins and outs of what to drink to pair with creamy brie, guide you through your first brewing experience, or help you and your coworkers feel more connected, all without ever leaving the house.
