Take advantage of the warm weather by dining outside in Media

Summer Wednesday nights in Media mean only one thing: Dining Under the Stars. That’s when the town closes State Street to cars and opens it to restaurant dinner tables, so that the hungry masses can enjoy international eats from Media’s best restaurants in an open-air setting.

2017 marks the 10th anniversary of Media's Dining Under the Stars program. Each summer, the suburban town closes down a section of State Street to vehicles on Wednesday nights, so that residents and visitors can dine al fresco.

The opening date will be Wednesday, May 3, with Dining Under the Stars running through September.

So far, 25 restaurants are participating in this year's outdoor dining program. Diners can choose from a range of cuisines. There are Italian BYOBs like Fellini Café Trattoria, American restaurant-bars like Iron Hill, sushi spots like Azie and more options.

After dinner, check out the neighborhood's boutiques and shops or enjoy live music by performers on the street.
