A new place to buy produce is coming to Fishtown, just in time for summer picnics and backyard barbecues. Riverwards Produce will officially open on July 9, with hours set for 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. on weekends. The day before will be the opening party, beginning at 2 p.m.
W.P. Palmer Distilling Company and Saint Benjamin Brewing Company will be in attendance, mixing up complimentary cocktails made with fruits from the market.
Some produce will be available for purchase during the opening party, so attendees can shop and sip, which definitely improves grocery shopping.
