Ex-Fox 29 reporter breaks it off with Chiefs backup QB

Kacie McDonnell and Aaron Murray are no longer a couple

Kacie McDonnell and her former fiancé, Kansas City Chiefs backup quarterback Aaron Murray.

Former Fox 29 traffic reporter Kacie McDonnell is no longer engaged to Kansas City Chiefs backup quarterback Aaron Murray, Philly.com said in a gossip column.

The two coupled in 2013 and McDonnell moved to Kansas City in August.

McDonnell confirmed the breakup, saying:

"I'm loving my career in Kansas City. I’m really committed to being a part of this community for the time being. The engagement is off. I wish him the best, it’s best to part ways. I’m moving on with my life."

McDonnell said her heart is always in Philadelphia.

She has more than 87,500 followers on Instagram and nearly 60,000 on Twitter. If Twitter reaction is any indication, McDonnell has lots of fans in Philadelphia who would like her to return.
