Candy has been made in this location since 1863. If only the walls had eyes...

Shane Confectionery, America's oldest continuously run confectionery, will host tours through the Old City shop leading up to Halloween. This is the first year the candy store is offering the themed event.

During, attendees (age 13-plus recommended) will trick or treat, while learning about Philadelphia's spookiest spots and the history of chocolate.

The tour promises to be "spooky, delicious and educational."

Tours will take place on four dates in October at 6:30 p.m. and 7:45 p.m. Each one-hour tour is limited to eleven people. Tickets, which are $13 per person, can be purchased online or in the store.
