The Philly SHRM Symposium is Wednesday, April 1 and Thursday, April 2.

For those in the human resource profession or similar fields, the Society for Human Resource Management will host the Philly SHRM Symposium Wednesday, April 1 and Thursday, April 2. For two days professionals will gather to network, visit exhibitors and hear speakers with impressive career backgrounds.

This year's keynote speaker is graffiti artist, entrepreneur and philanthropist Erik Wahl. He'll regale the audience with stories of his own success and share his advice on stepping out of your comfort zone in business. Other speakers include Founder and President of Right Cord Leadership Michael Brenner and Natalie Nixon, a professor and Director of the Strategic Design MBA at Philadelphia University.

Breakout sessions over the two-day event include tips on managing and engaging a workforce, elevating and guiding talent and measuring outcomes. Sessions break down ideas like the "Strategic HR Business Partner" and "Enterprise Leadership."

Attendees can get certificate credit for attending certain sessions, too. The HR Certification Institute will offer business credits, SHRM will offer professional development credits and the PA Continuing Legal Education Board will offer one credit.
