Police are investigating whether prison inmates had any involvement in a fire at a Montgomery County prison that sent six people to the hospital on Friday night.
A small fire was reported in a prison cell just before 7:00 p.m. at the Graterford State Prison in Skippack Township, according 6 ABC.
Though the fire was quickly put out, six people, believed to be corrections officers, were taken to Einstein Hospital in Norristown to be treated for smoke inhalation.
State police and Department of Corrections Officials are now investigating to determine the cause of the fire.
