Jersey's Jon Bon Jovi sees himself in the White House

Says he'd make a fine entertainer-in-chief

Jersey-bred rocker Jon Bon Jovi sees himself in the White House. But not as Commander in Chief.

Nah, the 54-year-old Sayerville native, who lives on a 16-acre estate on New Jersey’s Navesink River, sees himself instead as entertainer-in-chief.

Of course, there is no such post – yet.

Bon Jovi, a hard-core Hillary Clinton supporter, was finishing up a tour at Manhattan’s B.B. King Blues Club and Grill when he said, "I'm gonna be the Secretary of Entertainment when Mrs. Clinton gets in," People Magazine reports.

Bon Jovi has made campaign appearances with Clinton, the Democrats' nominee for the presidency against Republican candidate Donald Trump.

While Bon Jovi may be livin’ on a prayer, he knows he isn’t destined for the presidency – ever, according to People.

"There'd be so many skeletons that would fall out of my closet."

But the magazine also reported that Bon Jovi has told the Democratic candidate’s husband, former President Bill Clinton, that leading a band is definitely a better job than being an ex-president.

Why?

The rocker explained, "I got to keep the airplane and the house. I got him to agree that mine was the cooler position."
