Kevin Durant ‘loves Philly,’ had dinner with Sixers assistant Todd Wright

A quick disclaimer: Don’t get your hopes up, he’s not coming here.

While March Madness rolls on, the 46-22 Oklahoma City Thunder are in town for a Friday night game against the Sixers. Kevin Durant, who is the second-best player in the NBA (behind the guy who plays in Oakland), just so happens to be an unrestricted free agent this summer. He will likely be the sport’s biggest story in July.

Durant is close with Sixers assistant coach Todd Wright from their time at the University of Texas together, and they had dinner in Philly last night:

Wright is the Head of Strength and Conditioning for the Sixers, which among other things means that it’s his job to put Joel Embiid through his paces before games:

And Philadelphia, Durant really likes you (well, just as he likes a lot of other places):

One more time: Don’t get your hopes up, he’s not coming here.
